Analytics & Reporting

Qarion provides built-in analytics to help you understand the health of your data, the activity in your workspace, and the progress of your governance initiatives.

Overview

The Analytics section offers a high-level view of your space's performance. It aggregates data from quality checks, issue tracking, and user activity to provide actionable insights. These dashboards are essential for Data Owners and Stewards to monitor the reliability and trustworthiness of their data assets.

Key Dashboards

The Quality Trends dashboard visualizes the health of your data products over time. You can see:

  • Overall Quality Score: A weighted average of passing checks across all products.
  • Check Failure Rates: Identification of products with frequent quality issues.
  • Historical Performance: Trend lines showing whether data quality is improving or degrading.

Use this view to pinpoint "problem areas" that require remediation or architectural fixes.

Operational Metrics

This dashboard focuses on the operational side of data governance. It tracks:

  • Sync Status: The success rate of metadata synchronization jobs from source systems.
  • Issue Resolution Time: How quickly your team is addressing reported data incidents.
  • Access Request Volume: The number of pending and approved access requests.

Usage & Adoption

Understand how your team interacts with the platform. This report shows which data products are most frequently viewed, searched for, or queried. High-usage products with low quality scores should be prioritized for improvement.

Exporting Reports

For external reporting or offline analysis, you can export the underlying data from most charts. Look for the Export button to download the data in CSV or JSON format, allowing you to incorporate these metrics into your own status reports or presentations.
