Dashboard Components
Status Overview Cards
At the top of the dashboard, high-level status cards provide immediate visibility into your space's overall health. These cards display key metrics such as the Total Products count in your catalog, the number of Active Contracts (SLAs), the count of Open Issues requiring attention, and the aggregate Quality Score across all data products.
Recent Activity Feed
The activity feed keeps you updated on the latest changes and events within your space. It tracks new product additions, issue status updates, quality check failures, access request approvals, and meeting completions. Each entry includes the timestamp, the actor who performed the action, the affected entity, and the resulting status, allowing you to click through for full details.
Quick Actions
The dashboard provides direct access to common tasks to streamline your workflow. You can quickly jump to the Data Catalog to browse assets, check the Alerts section for current quality notifications, or register a new asset via Create Product.
Activity Center
For a full history view beyond the dashboard summary, click View All on the Recent Activity section to access the Activity Center.
Activity Center Features
The Activity Center (/activity) offers a comprehensive timeline of space events. You can filter this feed to focus on specific types of activities, such as Products (registration and metadata changes), Issues (ticket lifecycle events), or view All Activity for a complete chronological record.
Stats Summary
Summary cards at the top of the page provide temporal context for the last week. These metrics show the Total Activity count, the number of New Products registered, and the current count of Open Issues, giving you a quick sense of the week's velocity.
Timeline Navigation
Activities are displayed chronologically with date separators for easy scanning. Status badges indicate the current state of each entity, and every item is clickable, navigating you directly to the relevant detail page.
Using the Dashboard Effectively
Daily Review
Start your day by reviewing the dashboard for any new quality alerts or failures. excessive open issues, or recent activity from team members that might require your input.
Monitoring Trends
Watch for patterns in the activity feed, such as spikes in quality failures that may indicate upstream issues, clusters of new products suggesting catalog growth, or repeated issue types that might need a systematic resolution.
Quick Triage
Use the dashboard for rapid triage: scan the status cards for anomalies, check recent activity for urgent items, and click through to address high-priority tasks immediately.
