Stay informed about activity that matters to you.

Overview​

Qarion keeps you updated about important events such as mentions in comments, changes to access request statuses, issue assignments, quality check failures, and pending workflow approvals.

Notification Center​

Access your notifications by clicking the bell icon in the header.

Notification Types​

The system triggers notifications for various events:

  • Mentions: When someone tags you in a comment.
  • Assignments: When an issue is assigned to you.
  • Requests: Updates on the status of your access requests.
  • Alerts: Triggered by quality check failures or smart alerts.
  • Approvals: Workflows that are awaiting your decision.

Actions​

You can interact with notifications directly: click one to navigate to the source, mark individual items as read to dismiss them, or use Mark All Read to clear your list entirely.

@Mentions​

When someone mentions you using @username in a comment, a notification appears in your notification center. If you have email notifications enabled, the comment will also be highlighted in the email you receive.

Email Notifications​

You can configure your email preferences in Settings > Notifications. These settings allow you to toggle email notifications on or off, set a digest frequency (immediate, daily, or weekly), and choose exactly which events should trigger an email.

Best Practices​

Check your notifications regularly to stay responsive to your team. Clear old notifications to keep your inbox manageable, and configure your email preferences wisely to balance awareness with inbox noise.
